At synchrotron radiation and free electron laser sources, such as NSLS II in Brookhaven and European XFEL in Hamburg and Schleswig-Holstein, the instrumentation that carries the radiation from its point of origin to the experimental end station is called beamline. A typical application at the end station is crystallography, although many other techniques exist.RI offers complete beamline systems and also all components of beamlines that consist of successive devices through which the photon beam is propagated, filtered, focused, and directed to the samples being studied.
Our products and engineering capabilities include the whole range from insertion devices, beamline systems and components, experimental stations, X-ray microscopes to cryocooler systems. We design, manufacture, test and install all our systems and components. Our experienced beamline scientists and engineers are happy to discuss and realize specific solutions for your application.
