On Friday, we had the pleasure of celebrating the completion of Lina Aroudaki’s Bachelor thesis.
Lina is a student at RWTH Aachen under the supervision of Achim Stahl and in her thesis, which was co-supervised by RI’s Kai Dunkel, she optimized the electro-magnetic layout of a 500 MHz high power industrial linac for novel applications.
Lina passed with flying colors and will now continue as a master student in particle physics at RWTH. Her involvement with RI will continue as a student employee.
Congratulations Lina and all the best for your future career!
At RI we believe in the traditions of instrument building and education, “Tradition is not the worship of ashes, but the transmission of fire” (Gustav Mahler). And we think that educating young people is a great way to pass on the fire.
