It was our great pleasure to host Prof. Dr. Hartmut Ihne, president of the Hochschule Bonn-Rhein-Sieg (University of Applied Sciences) and his team members Alexandra Lopes und Dr. Simon Roth at RI. Nothing beats face-to-face conversations when it comes to exploring opportunities for future collaboration. Through discussions about the tasks and goals of the University, we were able to identify promising common interests, as well as challenges that connect the University and us at RI.
As we strolled through our production facilities, we had some more intriguing discussions:
Have you ever wondered what high-frequency cavities for particle accelerators have in common with organ pipes?
Are you curious why RI is a hidden champion in the Bergisches Land region?
What does it take to become a recognized supplier and partner to top-notch research institutes worldwide?
And why does having the right attitude make all the difference when applying for a job at RI?
These are just some of the topics we hope to dive into even deeper during your next get-together. We can't wait to continue the conversation!
