The prize? A tour of RI Research Instruments!

A school group from Heinrich-Heine Gymnasium Köln has won a very special prize in the “Physics in Advent” challenge: An exclusive peek behind the scenes at our 'Manufaktur' in Bergisch Gladbach.

After receiving a hands-on introduction to the world of particle accelerators using marbles and inclined planes, they delved into our factory and experienced firsthand how RI manufactures, assembles, and tests particle accelerators.
Our discussions covered everything from basic physics and relevance of school knowledge in everyday life to the working conditions for scientists in industry.

By the end of the day, the students (and our guides too!) were not only smarter but also more enthusiastic than ever before! Thank you for visiting, and good luck with your exams.
