I actually ended up at RI through a temporary employment agency, and after about three-quarters of a year, RI gave me the opportunity to take on a permanent position, which I accepted.
I was quickly included in project work and received parallel training in new software. The onboarding process was very pleasant, and my colleagues were always ready to answer my questions.
Currently, I am responsible for the mechanical design of electrical high-voltage systems for the Dortmund location. Additionally, I support the main location in Bergisch Gladbach in designing new milling fixtures for the production of new series products.
In my opinion, what sets RI apart is that this company has its sights set far into the future while still being active in the present. By that, I mean that RI is involved in projects that will change the future for the betterment of humankind, and they are already working on it today. This includes areas such as nuclear fusion, medicine, and microchips, to name just a few.
